August 2008 will bring the opening of the first ever all-girls public school in this city. 150 new sixth and seventh graders were honored in a White Rose Induction Ceremony. They were selected from a very long list of applicants. Foundation for the Education of Young Women Executive Director, Carmyn Neely, was on hand to greet these 2014 and 1015 students.
